    Make the protein bar batter.

    • Mash the ripe bananas in your mixing bowl.
    • Scoop the ghee (or butter) into a glass container (or whatever you're using to melt it) on the stovetop. Melt the ghee (or butter) until it is liquid.
    • Place the melted ghee (or butter), sea salt (ASHLEYR for 15% off), raw honey (ASHLEYR for 10% off), vanilla extract, and cinnamon, into your mixing bowl with the mashed bananas and mix until smooth.
    • Note: if you go through tons of salt in your household like we do, check out this salt purchasing hack that will save you money + make things more efficient. We started this last year, and I'm so happy we did!
    • Add the protein powder (chicken [$10 off first purchase with WELCOMEAN] or beef) to your mixing bowl.
    • Fold the protein powder into the blended mixture.

Crush the banana chips and add them to the batter.

    • Crush the banana chips into smaller pieces, This can be done by crunching the bag prior to opening it (demonstrated in the Instagram Reel).
    • Pour about 90% of the crushed banana chips into the batter and mix until they are evenly incorporated.

Transfer the batter to your bread pan and freeze to set.

    • Add a sheet of parchment paper to your bread pan and transfer the batter to it. Smooth the top.
    • Use the remaining crushed banana chips and place them on top of the protein bar block.
    • Place in the freezer for about 30 minutes to set.

    Serve and enjoy!

    • Once the bars are set, remove them from the freezer and cut them into whatever size bars you prefer.
    • Note: the bars must be stored in the fridge. If left out at room temperature for too long, they will get sticky and begin to melt.
    • Store in the fridge in an airtight container for 4-5 days.
