Heart & Soil “Exercise Performance” Supplement Stack: Nutrient Breakdown

Beef organs are some of the most nutrient dense foods in the world. But do you have to eat them (in a conventional sense) to get all of these nutrients? No!

If you’re someone who is freaked out by the idea of eating organs, organ supplements are right up your alley.

Individual organs – usually beef organs – are desiccated (all of the moisture is removed and they’re dried out) and placed into capsules for nearly effortless (and tasteless) consumption.

The idea behind supplementing with organs is like supports like, meaning if one of the organs in your body is weak or has a deficiency, consuming that same organ from a happy, pasture-raised, grass-fed cow should, in theory, help strengthen that weak organ.

Note: While researching the nutrients for each organ, I was hoping to find one source that would have a nutrient breakdown for a majority of the organs so I could maintain some level of consistency. I used nutritional information from fitbit.com since I was able to find almost all of the organs there. The percentages listed are % daily value for a 2000-calorie diet.
