This is not carnivore, and it is sad and a shame you mix people up and make them sicker with misinformation. If you want to call it Keto then call it keto because it sure is not paleo either.

Hey John. At first glance, your aggressive message was quite off-putting. Your “you people” blanket statement makes me think you are angry at something much greater than me, yet you are taking it out on me, for some reason. And your accusation that I am cultivating sickness in people is an interesting claim to make as my intentions with this blog are quite the opposite. That being said, you do have a point somewhere in there. I think most people understand what carnivore is and use their own discretion when it comes to making it their own. For example, by including herbs and spices if they tolerate them. All of the recipes listed in this post are carnivore, but a few do include optional herbs and spices. I assume my readers understand that an herb or a spice is not an animal and is therefore not carnivore, and the fact that I label them as “optional” also speaks to this. However, I understand how this could be confusing for a newbie. So for each carnivore recipe that includes herbs and spices, on each individual recipe page in the recipe card, I added a note suggesting to not include them if a person is strict carnivore. I will also add a note near the top of this post. This should hopefully makes things much more clear and not contribute to “misinformation.”
Hi Ash, I’m loving all your recipes. After strictly eating only meat for a few months it’s been refreshing to branch out and try some of your creative and fun recipes. Thanks
Great Recipes! I’ll try them all.
