With these animal-based recipes for Halloween, you can make a variation of the festive foods you know and love – caramel apples, butter cups, truffles, cookies, and more – using whole, nutrient-dense foods without sacrificing taste or pleasure.
For starters, chocolate is not animal-based (by Paul’s definition). Neither is coffee, but many people who eat an animal-based diet still drink it. And some still also eat chocolate.
In this post, you will find 11 animal-based recipes to help you celebrate Halloween, but without all of the crap ingredients like seed oils and processed sugar. All of these meat-based recipes (and the rest of the recipes on this website) use animal-based ingredients, like beef, pork, chicken, uncured meats, organ meats, animal fats, some low toxicity fruits and vegetables, honey, and (optional) zero carb condiments, herbs, and spices.
Some of these recipes have chocolate in them, and some do not.
I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as I enjoyed creating them!
